Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “Student,” or “You”) and Rivoka (“Rivoka,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), governing your access to and use of the Rivoka website, digital applications, educational content, lectures, documents, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By creating an account, accessing, browsing, or purchasing access to any material on Rivoka, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. Educational Service & Medical Disclaimer

Notice: Rivoka is strictly an educational study companion platform. Nothing contained on Rivoka constitutes medical advice, clinical diagnosis, medical evaluation, treatment recommendation, or patient care instructions.

The Platform provides academic summaries, educational video lectures, question banks, and organized study notes designed exclusively to assist medical students in mastering undergraduate university curriculum. Content presented on the Platform must never be used as a substitute for professional clinical training, hospital protocols, or licensed medical decision-making.

Healthcare professionals and students are solely responsible for verifying clinical guidelines, drug dosages, and patient management strategies with official regulatory authorities and licensed hospital standards.

3. Account Registration & Single-User Policy

To access study materials and lecture streams, you must register an account by providing an authentic full name and a valid email address. Each account is assigned a unique five-digit Rivoka Student Identifier.

You agree to maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials. You are strictly responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Single-User Restriction: Each Rivoka subscription is licensed solely for the individual registered student. Account sharing, credential pooling, group purchasing, concurrent multi-device streaming, or reselling account access is strictly prohibited. Rivoka employs automated security heuristics and session monitoring; detected multi-user access or suspicious geographic jumping will result in immediate suspension without refund.

4. Course & Semester Subscriptions

Rivoka offers modular, time-bound commercial access to digital learning material:

  • Course Access: Grants access to lectures, video streams, and study files for a specific individual subject during the defined active offering term.
  • Semester Access: Grants access to all enrolled subjects included within an entire academic term/semester.

Global or platform-wide all-access subscriptions are not sold via the commercial self-service catalog. Subscriptions are non-transferable and expire automatically upon conclusion of the term duration specified at the time of purchase.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Protection

All materials available on Rivoka — including video lectures, audio recordings, lecture slide summaries, illustrations, written notes, examination questions, visual emblems, wordmarks, and software interface designs — are the proprietary intellectual property of Rivoka and its content creators.

You are granted a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to view educational materials within the browser for your personal study. You expressly agree that you will not:

  • Screen-record, rip, capture, download, or extract video streams through automated or manual tools;
  • Distribute, broadcast, publish, mirror, sublicense, sell, or publicly display any Rivoka materials on third-party channels (including Telegram, YouTube, Drive, or social media);
  • Decompile, reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with digital rights protection or dynamic watermark mechanisms embedded in video playback;
  • Scrape, spider, crawl, or harvest curriculum materials using automated bots or scripts.

Any detected violation will be prosecuted to the maximum extent permitted by applicable civil and criminal copyright legislation.

6. Acceptable Use & Platform Security

You agree to use Rivoka only for lawful educational purposes. You agree not to attempt to breach security boundaries, circumvent Row Level Security, manipulate API endpoints, execute injection attacks, flood server infrastructure, or harass instructors or fellow students.

7. Pricing & Payment Processing

All prices for courses and semesters are quoted in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) and are established authoritatively by Rivoka's database at the time of purchase order creation.

Payment processing is conducted securely via authorized payment gateways, including XPay. By submitting payment details on the hosted checkout page, you authorize the payment provider to charge your designated payment method for the full order amount.

Cardholder Security: Rivoka does not store, collect, or transmit credit or debit card numbers, CVV security codes, or banking credentials. Financial transactions are conducted entirely through the payment gateway’s PCI-DSS compliant checkout systems.

8. Refunds & Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations may be considered in accordance with Rivoka's applicable refund policy, the circumstances of the request, and applicable Egyptian consumer protection requirements. Specific refund eligibility, timeframes, and conditions may vary and will be communicated where applicable.

9. Suspension & Termination

Rivoka reserves the right to suspend, limit, or permanently terminate any account without prior notice if we determine, in our sole discretion, that the user has violated these Terms, engaged in intellectual property theft, shared credentials, or engaged in fraudulent payment activity. In cases of termination for cause, all paid access rights are forfeited immediately without entitlement to refund.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Platform and all materials are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Rivoka does not guarantee that access will be uninterrupted or error-free, nor do we make warranties regarding academic outcomes, specific exam grades, or university test scores.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rivoka, its founders, instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or inability to use the Platform.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent Egyptian courts.
